AKRON -- Jurors examined receipts for two expensive Rolex watches purchased by Jimmy Dimora and his wife Lori, as testimony in Jimmy Dimora's public corruption trial entered its second week.

The federal indictment against Jimmy Dimora alleges that, among other favors, he received a discount on a Rolex. The discount was the result of Cleveland businessman Ferris Kleem's relationship with a jeweler, according to the indictment.

Kleem, who was seeking a contract with Cuyahgoa County, has already pleaded guilty to bribery-related charges and is scheduled to testify against Dimora, who was one of three county commissioners at the time.

On Dec. 11, 2006, Dimora bought a Rolex Submariner at Shieban Jewelers in Strongsville. He paid a total of $5,047.12. The receipt shows $2,000 was paid in cash and the balance was charged to Dimora's Discover card.

Kleem had previously said he gave Dimora $2,000 toward a Rolex watch.

On June 12, 2008, Lori Dimora purchased a Rolex at the same jeweler. The indictment alleges that in May 2008, Dimora asked Kleem to assist him in the purchase of that Rolex as a graduation gift for a relative.

FBI Special Agent Michael Massie testified that the building which houses Shieban Jewelers was built by Ferris Kleem's company Blaze Construction.
