When the Academy of Country Music Award nominees were announced Thursday morning, a pair of Akron radio personalities were within the mix.
Scott Wynn and Sue Wilson of 94.9 WQMX's "Wynn and Wilson in the Morning" have been nominated for On-air Personality of the Year in a medium market. This marks the second year in a row the duo has been nominated for the award.
"We are honored and incredibly excited to receive our second ACM nomination," Wilson said. "It's a reflection of the great team we have at WQMX and the Akron Radio Center."
They are up against radio teams from California, Oklahoma, New York and Florida.
You can hear Wynn and Wilson each weekday from 6-10 a.m.
The 47th Annual ACM Awards will be held Sunday, April 1 in Las Vegas.
