CHARDON -- Teachers and staff members are being praised tonight for stepping in to help protect students during the Chardon High School shooting.

Teachers locked their classrooms as they had been trained to do in lockdown drills as students took cover.

One teacher grabbed an injured student and pulled them into a classroom for protection.
