CHARDON, Ohio -- Hundreds of people lined the streets of Chardon Saturday morning to show their support for Daniel Parmertor and his family.

Daniel, 16, is one of three students to die in the Feb. 27 shootings at Chardon High School.  His is the first of the three funerals to be held.

People by the hundreds turned out before sunrise to line the procession route.  They braved cold temperatures and gusting winds to stand shoulder to shoulder together in support of the teen.  Many wore the colors of Chardon High School.

The shootings have only made the tight-knit community gather together more closely.

A large group of people marched from Chardon High School to St. Mary's to ring the church and allow the Parmertor family to mourn their son in peace.

Daniel was buried at All Souls Cemetery.

Funerals for Demetrius Hewlin, 16,  and Russell King Jr., 17,  are planned for next week.

The same show of community support is anticipated as Chardon says good-bye to the young men.

Donations are being raised through United Way to help the victims' families.

Two other students were injured in the shootings.  One of them, Nick Walczak, remains hospitalized.

Classes resumed at Chardon High School on Friday with police on hand.
