WICKLIFFE -- Lakeland Boulevard on the Wickliffe-Euclid border is closed west of Lloyd Road because of downed utility poles.
The majority of the closure is in Euclid.
Two utility poles were knocked down, pulling on a third, causing it to lean, Wickliffe police said.
Euclid police believe that strong winds caused the damage.
No injures were reported.
FirstEnergy crews tell police that work to repair the downed poles will take at least eight hours.
The only reported power outages at this time are at the businesses on that stretch of the road.
Drivers planning to use Lakeland Boulevard west of Lloyd Road should take Lloyd north or south to a parallel street.
