Call it the luck of the Irish. St. Patrick's Day not only falls on a Saturday, but is expected to be unseasonably warm. Cleveland Police are expecting well over 300,000 people downtown. That means you need to start planning now.

The parade route runs along Superior, which will be closed from E. 18th to East Roadway; East Roadway and Rockwell will be closed as well. Additionally, E. 18th will be closed between Rockwell and Payne.

Police officers will start closing off parking meters around the parade route overnight Friday into Saturday morning.

A few lots we checked out downtown tell us their daily rate will be $20-$25 to park.

The RTA is encouraging riders to use their $5 all day pass. But get there early! RTA sold out of all 17,000 "all day" passes last year. Parking in the Rapid lots is free.
