As we've all heard by now, Axl Rose has declined his induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Guns N' Roses.
While Slash wouldn't comment on the matter during an interview at Revolver Golden Gods with Dee Snider, the Twisted Sister singer didn't hold his opinion back (see video below).
Clearly disappointed by Rose's letter to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Snider said, "It's crap. If he can't put this stuff aside for an event like that, for a recognition like that, to do the cool thing and just in respect of what you guys have done, I think it's totally screwed up."
Slash responded by saying, "I'm not going to comment on all that, but I'll be there."
Snider went on to say that anybody who supports "Rose N' Roses (his nickname for the New GNR) is a traitor. Period."
Earlier this week, Rose issued a letter to the Rock Hall saying, "I strongly request that I not be inducted in absentia and please know that no one is authorized nor may anyone be permitted to accept any induction for me or speak on my behalf."
The Rock Hall said in a statement that it still plans to induct Rose with the rest of the group. "We are sorry he will not be able to accept his induction in person."
According to the Rock Hall, only the Sex Pistols have declined induction before.
Whether or not Rose wants to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, his name has already been added to the Rock Hall's hallowed glowing wall.
