The red carpet was rolled out at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Friday night for a special VIP party.

Marshall Lytle, Joey Ambrose and Dick Richards of The Comets walked the red carpet happy to finally be inducted into the Rock Hall. The Comets may be best known for "Rock Around The Clock."

Johnny Meeks and Bobby Jones of The Blue Caps -- also being inducted this year -- joined in the festivities.

Alice Cooper, who was inducted last year, didn't walk the red carpet, but he was spotted inside the party.

Darlene Love, George Clinton and Cleveland's own Michael Stanley were also present for the party.

It's all leading up to the big event Saturday night at Public Hall when this year's 17 inductees are officially given their place in the Hall of Fame.
