AKRON -- An 18-year-old Garfield High School student had a different kind of "show and tell" with classmates in the parking lot after school Tuesday.
Police confirm that the teen was arrested and charged with several counts of carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a firearm in a school safety zone.
Police say that a teacher noticed a group of students gathered around a van parked in the school parking lot and that they were looking at a gun. She immediately called the school's resource officer who went to the van and ordered the students to step away.
The SRO then arrestedthe boy and confiscated the two handguns and "buck" knife from the van.
He remains in Summit County Jail.
