CLEVELAND -- The Blind Pig, a sports bar on W. 6th Street, is holding a fundraiser Saturday night to help raise money for those affected by the deadly shootings at Chardon High School.
The Love for Chardon event runs from 4-9 p.m. and includes live music, a fire show and a bachelor/bachelorette auction in which you can win a date with your favorite local first responder -- yes, they have firefighters up for bids.
Tickets are $20 per person and include appetizers, pop and those 21 and over will receive one alcoholic drink. Additional beer, wine and cocktails will be available for purchase.
All attendees under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
The proceeds will be divided evenly and given to the five families of the victims of the Feb. 27 shootings in which three students were fatally wounded.
Red and black attire is required.
