AKRON -- An Akron man was arrested after his 2-year-old son was found unresponsive Friday night.
Akron Police say Eddie Haskins Jr., 48, of West Cedar Street, was booked into the Summit County Jail on charges of felonious assault and felony child endangering.
The boy was reportedly found unresponsive on the couch by his mother who had just returned home from work.
The child, who was being cared for by his father at the time, was taken to Akron Children's Hospital with a severe brain injury.
No further details were provided.
