PAINESVILLE -- Sheriff's spokesperson, Chief Deputy Frank Leonbruno says the department caught an inmate who escaped from a minimum security jail through a window.
Christopher Eli Hall was found hiding at a home on North State Street in Painesville Sunday just after 4:00 p.m.
The U.S. Marshal's were called in Sunday morning to assist in search efforts.
Following up on a tip call received Sunday afternoon, authorities were able to track hall to the residence. He was taken into custody without incident.
Hall escaped from the Lake County Adult Detention Facility at 104 East Erie Street in Painesville. He was housed in a minimum security dormitory when he broke through a 3' by 2' window.
The escape happened at 11:40 p.m. Friday.
Officers heard three loud consecutive bangs before getting to the housing area.
When they arrived to the area where Hall was being housed, officers found sheets tied to a fixed table leading out of the small window.
Hall was in jail for robbery, theft from a building, tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice.
