CLEVELAND -- The sole survivor of the April 12 Cracker Barrel shooting was baptized in her hospital bed at MetroHealth Medical Center Tuesday.
Kayla Allen was baptized by the pastor who performed the memorial service for her mother and sister.
Last week, MetroHealth officials said Kayla Allen, 10, was back in critical condition and had taken a turn for the worse.
Kayla had been listed in critical condition when admitted April 12 and was upgraded twice to serious, and then fair.
The incident occurred when her father, Kevin Allen, 51, shot and killed her mother, Kate Allen, 42, and sister, Kerri Allen, 10, before police killed him when he did not comply with their orders to surrender.
