CLEVELAND -- Kayla Allen, the sole survivor of a restaurant shooting, is listed in serious condition Wednesday, according to the hospital.

Kayla, 10, had been listed in critical condition when admitted April 12 and was upgraded twice to serious, and then fair. Last week, MetroHealth officials said was back in critical condition and had taken a turn for the worse.

The incident occurred when her father, Kevin Allen, 51, shot and killed her mother, Kate Allen, 42, and sister, Kerri Allen, 10, before police killed him when he did not comply with their orders to surrender.
