RAVENNA TOWNSHIP -- Ravenna Township was among the hardest hit by flash flooding in Northeast Ohio's thunderstorm downpour Monday night.

Flooding as deep as three feet in some areas prompted Portage County Sheriffs to issue reverse 9-1-1 calls warning of hazardous conditions. Residents were advised to evacuate if necessary.

Brady Lake Road is always a trouble spot for road flooding and Monday night was no different.

A woman driving on Brady Lake hydroplaned on three feet of water and hit a tree at Woodlawn Avenue. First responders had to rescue her from the vehicle.

A few trailer parks were reportedly flooded Monday night.

Dominion East Ohio shut off gas lines in flooded areas to prevent potential explosions.

Power outages throughout Portage County are sporadic.

Just after midnight Tuesday morning, about 200 customers were without power, 150 of which were in Shalersville Township. FirstEnergy crews are moving throughout the area to restore power as quickly as possible.
