MENTOR -- Friday afternoon, Mentor police say the Eastlake man struck by a train Thursday night remains in critical condition in the hospital.
Friday afternoon, police identified the man as Zlatko Rosandic, 52, of Eastlake.
Just before 9 p.m. Thursday, police and the fire department got calls that a passerby found a man, possibly in his 50s, who may have been struck by a train by the railroad tracks on Industrial Parkway Boulevard.
Employees at a nearby company say Zlatko went out for a break and never came back.
He was taken to Lake West Hospital in Willoughby and then taken by LifeFlight to MetroHealth Medical Center.
