CLEVELAND -- A portion of the evidence introduced during the 10-week trial of former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora was released Tuesday morning, including video of Dimora in Las Vegas.

The evidence also includes photos of the home improvements to Dimora's home in Independence, photos of the Mirage Hotel suite in Las Vegas where Dimora stayed in April 2008, and a few photos of the Mirage's Bare Pool, where women may go topless. Those photos have been mostly blocked out.

During the trial when the photos were displayed, prosecutors also played wiretap conversations between Dimora and others back in Cleveland.

Although the wiretaps are not being released, reporters covering the trial noted the conversations and some of the content.

In one call to Cleveland, Dimora is heard to say about the Bare Pool, "Young broads, old broads, it's phenomenal. One's hotter than the next," referring to the topless women.

Overall, what is not being released are the thousands of FBI wiretaps and the many videos of Dimora and others.

Dimora, 56, was immediately taken into federal custody on March 9, the same day he was found guilty by a jury on 33 of 34 charges against him, including bribery, conspiracy, obstruction of justice and filing false tax returns.

He remains in the Northeast Ohio Correctional Center in Youngstown. His sentencing is scheduled for July 25.

U.S. District Judge Sara Lioi denied his request to be released until his sentencing. Dimora has an appeal of her denial pending in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Cincinnati.
