ALLIANCE -- Multiple fire crews from across the region responded to help fight a massive structure fire in Alliance early Wednesday morning.
The fire at the old Alliance Wholesale building on Rush Road was first reported at about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. The building has recently been used for storage.
At one point a second alarm was called for the fire, as well as aerial support for the flames. Flames could reportedly be seen from up to a mile away.
The building burned for more than three hours.
The train tracks were closed as crews battled the flames. Crews expect the railroad to reopen around 7 a.m.
Power outages have been reported in the area around the fire because a few utility poles also caught on fire.
It is unclear if there are any injuries.
