MASSILLON -- Ohio State Highway Patrol are looking for help finding a suspect from a fatal hit and run accident Sunday evening in Massillon.
A green and tan mini van heading south on Erie Street made a wide right turn onto S.R. 241, hitting Michael D. Braatz, 70, of Wooster, who was on a motorcycle. The van continued westbound on S.R. 241, said highway patrol.
The accident was reported at about 6:42 p.m. The driver of the van was reportedly driving erratically.
Braatz was taken to Affinity Hospital where he later died. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Witnesses say the van is a late 80s to early 90s two-tone Chevy or Plymouth minivan that is green on the top and tan on the bottom.
Two people were seen inside the van. The driver was described only as a middle aged white man.
