AKRON -- It's a long road home for some returning service men and women.

Todd Hall, an Army veteran spent 21 years in the U.S. army, including 2 tours in Iraq. Through the help of the Military Services Center at the University of Akron, he is now a college student.

Hall is one of 1,400 veterans attending the University of Akron.

And with thousands more veterans expected to return home to Northeast Ohio in the next year, the numbers are expected to get even higher.

The Military Service Center not only helps veretans with the transition to school but also with the challenges of coming coming home.
