Cleveland: Dead man found sitting in car

CLEVELAND -- Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in his 20s who was found slumped over in the passenger seat of a Hyundai Tuscan at East 162nd Street and Lotus Avenue about 4:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called after a person walking by the car noticed the man in the car was bleeding from his mouth.

Police found that the man had a gunshot wound to the head and called EMS. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The official cause of death will be determined by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

The Cleveland Division of Police is asking that anyone with information about this incident to contact the Division of Police Homicide Unit at 216.623.5464.
