Sagamore Hills: Residents without power after Semi takes out electric poles

SAGAMORE HILLS --  Police say a wide load semi took out number of utility poles on Route 82.

The accident happened at 12:20 p.m. leaving more than 1,500 people without power.

Rt. 82 will be closed between Carter Road and Chaffee Road as Ohio Edison repairs the damaged poles and electric lines.

Police asking drivers to take alternative route.

Crews are working to restore power to the area.
