CLEVELAND -- Police are investigating an early-morning homicide that grew out of a fight.
Investigators said they were called to East 169th Street about 4:20 a.m. When they arrived they found a victim with a gunshot wound to the head nearby. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as Carlos Coates, 39.
Police say it appears Coates argued with two men and during the fight a gun was pulled.
The suspects fled the scene in a dark colored vehicle.
No arrests have been made.
