RAVENNA -- According to the Portage County Sheriff's office, 22-year-old Jeff Fox died after attempting to swim at West Branch State Park.
Two other people saw the man go under the water around 8:00 p.m. Saturday night when he attempted to swim across a lake located in the park.
By the time the dive team was prepared, the water was considered unsafe.
Crews returned to the park Sunday morning and located the man's body shortly after noon.
West Branch State Park is investigating the incident.
