CLEVELAND -- On Sunday, an estimated 750 motorcyclists will remember Ohio's Fallen Law Enforcement Officers at the 10:30 a.m. ceremony at the Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial at West Third Street and Lakeside Avenue.

This is the fourth year that the "Cops Ride LLC" will bring together many of the families of "Fallen Officers" from northeast Ohio to make sure that we never forget those men and women of law enforcement who lost their lives in the "Line of Duty."

There were no fatalities from the Greater Cleveland area during the past twelve months, however six law enforcement officers from Ohio lost their lives during 2011.

They are::

Sgt. Brian Scott Dulle, Warren County Sheriff, EOW May 10, 2011

Officer Andrew Scott Dunn, Sandusky PD, EOW March 19, 2011

Captain Daniel Patrick Stiles, Uniontown PD, EOW February 15, 2011

Officer Jonathan V Bastork, Stow PD, EOW February 5, 2011

Officer Tom Hayes, Columbus PD, EOW January 20, 2011

Sgt. Mark Krumhauer, of the Westlake Police and President of  "Cops Ride," indicated the goal for this year's ride is to donate $10,000 to Ohio C.O.P.S. which benefits the families of Ohio's Fallen Officers.

The cost to participate in the "4th Annual Cops Ride" is $20 a person and includes a police escorted ride from the 10:30 AM Ceremony at Greater Cleveland Police Memorial and ending at Harley Davidson Sales Company of Cleveland, where food and entertainment will be provided from 12:30 to 3 PM.

Registrations are still available at all NE Ohio Harley-Davidson dealerships and you can also register the morning of the ride from 8:30 AM till 10:15 AM. The processional ride will begin at 11:00 AM and will conclude at H-D Sales Company of Cleveland at 12:30.
