CLEVELAND -- Police were investigating a homicide early Tuesday morning in the area of East 116th Street.
Police said they got a call about 2 a.m. stating a man was slumped over the steering wheel in a car on East 116th Street. When paramedics arrived, they determined the man was dead.
Preliminary reports revealed someone working in the area heard a gunshot. When they went to look for where the shot came from, they saw a car with the man slumped at the wheel.
The victim was identified late Wednesday as Albert Fletcher, 54, of Cleveland, who died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
