AKRON -- The afternoon rush could be more congested than usual today as construction crews have placed a new restriction on a heavily traveled roadway.
Earlier today, Route 8 South at the Central Interchange (under I-76/I-77) was reduced to just two lanes of travel to make room for pavement repairs.
ODOT says restriction will remain in place through 9 a.m. Saturday.
Motorists can expect delays.
