Cleveland: Police continue investigation in double shooting

CLEVELAND-- Police are still searching for two suspects after a double shooting Saturday evening.

The shooting took place in the area of E. 110th Street and Woodland Avenue around 3:30 a.m.

The victims were two cousins, Eric Gross and Timothy Arrington.

They stopped their vehicle in the area to discuss where they would go to eat with two friends who were in a different car. That's when they were approached from behind by the two suspects.

When Gross and Arrington turned around, they saw that one of the suspects was pointing a handgun at them.

As shots were fired, the friends drove off, leaving the two cousins behind. 

Arrington and Gross were transported to University Hospitals. Gross was later Life Flighted to MetroHealth Medical Center.

The suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Police learned of the situation after responding to MetroHealth Medical Center where the shooting was reported.

The incident is still under investigation.
