PARMA, Ohio -- A man died in an industrial accident at the GM metal plant in Parma Tuesday afternoon, a GM spokesman confirmed.
The worker's identity has not been revealed, other than that he was a team member in the plant.
The Parma Fire Department responded to the Parma GM Plant for an industrial accident Tuesday afternoon.
The Parma Fire Department Spokesperson Doug Turner confirms they were called to the GM Plant Tuesday for some type of industrial accident where a 52-year-old man was injured by heavy equipment.
The man was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center. The hospital is not releasing any details.
Another source told Channel 3 News they believe the man died.
At this time, that fact has NOT been confirmed by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
