VERMILION, Ohio -- Vermilion Police K-9 Andy died Tuesday during a training exercise, police confirmed.

Police say he suffered a fall during the exercise and died shortly after.

Funeral services will be held in Vermilion and details will be released soon.

Police are still investigating the incident and will release more details at a later time.
