CLEVELAND -- The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles tells WKYC their systems are down.

Following this weekend's storms, the BMV has been forced to use generators to operate their computer systems. Most of the BMV is down but some areas maybe able to accommodate motorists.

Drivers are asked to call the BMV before heading out to area locations.

The BMV says the following locations are closed on July 2:

2705 Galipolis
4039 Jackson
4407 Ironton
4410 Proctorville
7502 Sidney
6911 OTTAWA
8107 Vanwert
6606 WAVERLY
