Below is a look at the latest storm reports coming into the Channel 3 newsroom.
4:42: Portion of Northfield Road closed in Walton Hills due to downed power lines. Road closed between Forbes and Alexander in both directions.
3:20 p.m.: Lorain County EMA reports 1.61 inches of rain at official recording spot, but says other areas may have received much more rain. The EMA record 1-inch of rain in just fifteen minutes.
3:15 p.m. FirstEnergy reporting scattered outages in areas of Lorain and Cuyahoga counties following storms.
2:15 p.m.: New Philadelphia police report tree/wires down to NWS.
2:15 p.m.: Severe thunderstorm warning expires in Tuscarawas County. There are no other warnings currently active. Threat of storm development remains for later in the day and into night.
2:12 p.m.: Report of tree on power line in Dover following severe storm in Tuscarawas County.
2:00 p.m.: Trees reported down in Sterling in Wayne County.
1:57 p.m.: Storm damage report from NWS reports tree and limbs down in Bay Village.
1:55 p.m.: Hopkins Airport reports a lightning strike near the airport. The lightning hit the Brookpark RTA substation and blew a transformer, according to an airport spokeswoman.
1:25 p.m.: Storms now impacting southern portion of the viewing area with Tuscarawas County under a thunderstorm warning.
1:15 p.m.: FirstEnergy's outage map online reports 10,000 without power in Lorain County. The hardest hit area is North Ridgeville.
12:36 p.m.: Report of hail 1-inch in diameter in Smithville in Wayne County.
12:35 p.m.: Lorain County emergency manager reports a 60 mph wind gust during morning storms.
12:30 p.m.: Additional storm reports indicate hail .75 inch in size came down in the storms in Wayne and Medina counties. These two counties were under a tornado warning for a portion of the morning.
12:25 p.m.: Storm report from NWS indicates a tree down in Medina's York Township, Wadsworth Township and also at Vandermark and 224. Report filed by law enforcement officers.
12:23 p.m. Reports of tornado sirens sounding in Rittman. Wayne County remains under a thunderstorm warning.
12:22 p.m. NWS allows Tornado Warning for Wayne and Medina to expire. Severe thunderstorms still impacting Wayne County.
12:20 p.m.: FirstEnergy reporting about 1,500 outages in Cuyahoga County and about 1,000 in Lorain County.
12:14 p.m.: According to NWS storm report a tree is down at Indian Hollow and Murdon Roads in Lorain County's Carlisle Township. Other limbs reported down in the area as well.
11:30 a.m. Tornado Warning issued for Medina County and Wayne County.
11:20 a.m. The Emergency Management Agency in Lorain reports flash flooding in Sheffield Lake on Route 6 and Lake Road.
