AKRON -- Mother Nature wasn't the only thing raining down from the sky Wednesday night.
Akron Police say a 20-year-old Wadsworth man was struck by a stray bullet in the top of his shoulder around 11:30 p.m.
According to police, the victim reported he was standing in the 200 block of South Main Street when he was hit by the bullet.
Akron Police say it appears the shot came from another location where someone had fired a gun into the air.
The victim removed the bullet from his shoulder, handed it to an officer working in the area and was taken to Akron General Medical Center for minor injuries.
The victim reported that nobody heard any shots being fired.
