Cleveland: Police identify Locke Avenue murder victim

CLEVELAND -- Police are investigating the death of a 52-year-old man who was found dead in his home on Locke Avenue.

The victim was identified as Paul Cotton.

Police and EMS were called to the home around 1:30 p.m. Saturday after a family member discovered the victim's body. EMS also responded to the scene and pronounced him dead.

The victim was found on his living room floor and had suffered a head injury.

Police are looking for a missing red 1991 Ford Taurus which may be connected to the man's death. The license plate number is EXV7601. If you see this car, police ask that you call 911 immediately and do not approach it.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner also responded to the scene and will conduct an autopsy to determine cause of death.
