North Royalton: Police ask for public's help in bicyclist's death

NORTH ROYALTON -- The North Royalton police are asking for the public's help in its investigation into the death of a bicyclist.

The bicyclist has been identified as Ronald Cartwright, 63, of Parma.

On July 6, police were called to State Road and Oakridge Drive and found Cartwright off his bike with injuries to his face and head. He died from his injuries after being taken to Metro.

Police say Cartwright was an avid cyclist and there is no evidence that he was struck. Witnesses however reported seeing a black car turn onto Oakridge from State Road.
