Cleveland: 3 shot on city's east side, no suspects

CLEVELAND -- Police responded to the area of E. 146th Street and Elmhurst Avenue after receiving reports of a large fight and gunshots in the area.

When police arrived around 11:55 p.m. Friday, they found 3 people who were all shot in the legs.

One of the victims, 30-year-old Brenda McSwain says she was returning home after picking up her son from a party when she was shot. She didn't see a suspect.

McSwain was taken to University Hospital where she was treated and released.

The other two victims, 18-year-old Michael Walker and a 16-year-old were walking with a large crowd of people, when an argument started.

Suddenly, gunshots were fired and both were hit in their legs.

Walker was treated and released by EMS at the scene. the 16-year-old was taken to an area hospital to be treated.

Police continue to investigate the incident but have no suspects at this time.
