FRISCO, N.C. -- The Dare County Sheriff's Department has issued a warrant for the arrest of Nathan Summerfield.
Jackenheimer, 33, of Ashland, Ohio, reportedly went on a Fourth of July trip to North Carolina's Outer Banks with Nathan Summerfield, their son, Leland, 3, and her 13-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, Ciara.
Summerfield, 27, was last seen in Ashland, Ohio on July 7 after dropping the kids off at a family friend's house.
The gray Honda Civic Summerfield is said to be driving hasn't been spotted.
A news conference is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon in North Carolina. has been issued.

"This case remains an active investigation and information is limited to what has been provided," said Dare County Sheriff's Captain W. Charles Nieman.
Just before 5 p.m. Monday, the sheriff's department announced that the body found July 14 under some brush in Frisco, North Carolina, was Jackenheimer's.
