RAVENNA __ On July 12, agents with the Portage County Drug Task Force arrested and booked into the Portage County Jail Paris Darnell Miller, 21, of Akron, and Etta Mae Wilson, 42, of Kent.

They were arrested on charges of trafficking in cocaine with a juvenile present.

The arrest took place at Mill and Romito Street in Ravenna.

According to Sheriff David W. Doak, this arrest followed a five-month investigation into trafficking in heroin, cocaine and prescription drugs in the Western Portage County Area.

Task Force Agents believe through their investigation that Wilson is responsible for bringing these drugs into Portage County from outlying areas and distributing them in the Kent, Ravenna and Streetsboro areas.

Wilson was also in possession of heroin, cocaine and prescription drugs at the time of her arrest.

Miller had an outstanding warrant for violating his probation from a priorbBurglary charge out of Summit County.

Task Force Agents will present additional evidence to the Portage County Grand Jury seeking additional charges.

The Portage County Drug Task Force is comprised of members from the Portage County Sheriff's Office, Portage County Prosecutor's Office, Cities of Aurora, Kent and Streetsboro and the Villages of Garrettsville and Windham.
