CLEVELAND -- After searching for over an hour, rescuers may have located a missing swimmer off Euclid Beach Park.
Shortly after 9 p.m. a Cleveland 911 police dispatcher was notified of a possible missing 19-year-old man last seen in the water by friends at Euclid Beach Park.
The Coast Guard and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, along with Cleveland Fire and Police departments, began searching for the missing man.
The man's name and hometown are not being released.
A rescue boatcrew launched from Coast Guard Station in Cleveland Harbor, and a rescue aircrew launched aboard a Coast Guard helicopter to assist.
Late Tuesday, shortly before 10:30 p.m., Channel 3 News crews at Euclid Beach Park were informed that the missing swimmer had been found. No other immediate details are being released.
