CLEVELAND -- As the FBI and police search an area of Cleveland for the remains of Amanda Berry, the family of Gina DeJesus is holding out hope.

Gina's mother, Nancy Ruiz, talked with Channel 3 News. Gina went missing in April 2004, almost exactly a year after Amanda was last seen leaving her job at a west side fast food restaurant.

A similar tip in 2006 led authorities to search a home on W. 50th Street for Gina but nothing was found.

Nancy Ruiz says she still believes Gina is still alive and still passes out fliers at the corner where her daughter was last seen.
