Cleveland man convicted of workers' compensation fraud

CLEVELAND -- A real estate agent  from Cleveland pleaded guilty to workers' compensation fraud after being investigated by the Ohio  Bureau of Workers' Compensation.

The BWC began investigating Greg Robinson after they received allegations that he was collecting $30,000 on top of his salary as a real estate agent.

While working as a custodian at Berea schools, Robinson was injured and began collecting temporary total disability benefits.

According to reports, Robinson had worked for two real estate agencies since he began collecting disability.

Robinson has been sentenced to six months incarceration which is suspended for five years of community control.

During this time, Robinson must make restitution in the amount of $31,305.87.
