MEDINA COUNTY -- A two-year-old Parma girl has died of injuries suffered in a crash on I-71 northbound.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the girl and her six-year-old brother were passengers in a car driven by their dad.
Troopers say the family's car was stopped in the right lane near the exit to State Route 83 when it was hit from behind by a northbound SUV.
The children were taken by air ambulance to the UH Pediatric Emergency Department where the two-year-old died.
The children's parents were taken to a Lodi hospital with serious injuries.
The occupants of the SUVa couple from West Salemwere also taken to Lodi with serious injuries
The crash remains under investigation.
