CLEVELAND - We are tracking severe weather across the area this evening with our WKYC Storm Blog for the latest weather information you can use.

9:00 p.m. - Remainder of the area has been cleared of the severe thunderstorm watch.

8:12 p.m. - Severe thunderstorm watch canceled for most of northern Ohio. The watch is only in effect for  Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Tuscarawas.

7:32 p.m. - Flood Warning issued for Cuyahoga River at Old Portage through Friday morning.

7:30 p.m. - Storm warning set to expire in Lake and Geauga counties.

7:27 p.m. - NWS says thundestorm winds in excess of 45 mph impacting parts of Ashtabula and Trumbull counties.

7:24 p.m. - Viewer photos show street flooding in Tallmadge following downpours. 

7:22 p.m. - Reports of road washed out in area of Summit and Furnace streets in Akron.

7:20 p.m. - Storm warning for eastern Cuyahoga canceled.

6:50 p.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning in effect until 7:30 p.m. for eastern Cuyahoga, Lake and Geauga counties.

6:40 p.m. - Heavy rains fall in downtown Cleveland prompting a rain delay to the start of the Indians vs. Tigers game at Progressive Field.

6:26 p.m. - Power outages reported in Erie, Medina and Summit Counties. Check outages at http://outages.firstenergycorp.com/oh.html

6:17 p.m. - Reports of 5 trees down in Ravenna.

6:15 p.m. - Emergency Managers in Lorain County report a wind gust of near 60 m.p.h. in Sheffield.

5:55 p.m. - Power reported out in parts of New Philadelphia.

5:53 p.m. - Severe thunderstorms warnings issued for Erie and Lorain Counties.

5:39 p.m. - Storm storms develop over northern Erie County north into the Lake and move east toward Cleveland. More strong storms are from Akron to Youngstown.

5:37 p.m. - Flood Advisories issued for Medina and Summit Counties until 8:30 p.m. after radar estimates of 2 to 2 1/2 inches of rain have been reported over those areas.

5:00 p.m. - National Weather Service says high temperatures around the area today (through 5 p.m.) are: Cleveland - 93 degrees (trace of rain), Akron - 92 degrees (.67"), Mansfield - 90 degrees (.10") and Youngstown - 91 degrees (.12")

4:51 p.m. - FirstEnergy says some power outages in Solon, Akron, Green due to the storms passing through. Check outages at http://outages.firstenergycorp.com/oh.html

4:48 p.m. - Bad storms over the Columbus area shut down the Ohio State Fair.

4:24 p.m. - New Severe Thunderstorm Warnings issued for Coshocton and Holmes Counties for strong storms.

4:18 p.m. - Several trees are reported down just south of Mt. Vernon in Knox County.

4:13 p.m. - The Heat Advisory for our southern counties is canceled.

2:38 p.m. - The Heat Advisory for northern Ohio is canceled.

2:35 p.m. - Hail is reported in Struthers and Poland Mahoning County estimated at 1" size.

2:29 p.m. - More hail report in Youngstown in Mahoning County estimated at .88" size.

1:30 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. - Additional thunderstorms warnings are issued for Portage, Summit, Wayne, Stark and Mahoning.

1:30 p.m. - Numerous large branches are reported down in Kinsman in Trumbull County.

1:21 p.m. - A Tornado Warning is issued for Trumbull and Ashtabula County after radar indicates a possible tornado near Kinsman. No touchdown is reported.

1:17 p.m. - The National Storms Prediction Center issues a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is issued for all of northeast Ohio until 10 p.m.

1:00 p.m. - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is issued for Ashtabula and Trumbull County.
