MEDINA -- The Chevy Aveo driver clocked for doing 85 mph in a 65 mph zone had three pounds of marijuana in his trunk.
Just before 8 p.m. July 25, driver Shaun Graves was stopped by an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper for going 86 mph in a 65 mph zone on Interstate 71 in Medina County.
Graves was driving a rented 2012 Chevy Aveo. When the trooper spoke to Graves, he noticed an odor of raw marijuana inside the vehicle.
A probable cause search revealed approximately 1,400 grams of marijuana in the trunk of the vehicle, along with a metal smoking pipe.
Graves was cited for felony possession of marijuana and was taken to the Medina County jail.
