CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Police have two in custody after store robbery and shooting on the west side.
Police were called to 2700 West 25th Street Friday night shortly after 6:00 p.m. after receiving reports of a robbery and possible shooting.
When police arrived at the Wireless Wholesale store, they found a store worker had been shot in the head. He was conscious, breathing, and talking. EMS took him to MetroHealth Medical Center.
During the investigation police were told that 2 men entered the store attempting to rob it. One of the suspects had a handgun and during the robbery, he shot the store employee in the head.
The males took property and ran from the store.
Police then received a tip that the suspects ran to the house at West 30th and Barber. Cleveland Police along with S.W.A.T. went to the house. They surrounded the home with guns drawn.
The two suspects came out of the house and are in custody. The gun and store property was found at that scene.
The investigation continues, including various pending charges.
