SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP -- Police were called to an Oakes Drive home to investigate the possibility of a meth lab at that location.
Officers responded around 7:00 p.m. When they knocked on the door, they could smell the chemicals coming from inside the home.
Further investigation lead police to the active meth lab that was inside. Not only that, a child was also in the home at the time.
The two adults in the home were arrested. 33-year-old Tony Macchiarole and 23-year-old Keely Bolyard were both charged with assembly to manufacture drugs, a felony.
Bolyard was also charged with felony child endangering for having her 6-year-old in the home.
Both suspects were taken to Summit County Jail.
The child was released to family members.
