CLEVELAND -- Early Wednesday morning, a woman claims she was kidnapped, stabbed, and sexually assaulted.
The incident happaned shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday night. The woman was walking in the area of East 46th Street and Central Avenue when the suspect approached her from behind, knocked her to the ground, and stabbed her in the neck.
The incident was reported at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday morning. Police responded to East 59th Street and Central Avenue.
When police arrived at the scene, they learned that the woman was also a sexual assault victim.
The woman went to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation continues.
