LORAIN -- A couple hundred people gathered at Lakeview Park's Veterans Memorial to remember Catherine Hoholski.
Hoholski, 26, was murdered by her boyfriend/father of her infant daughter, Albert Fine, 30, police say.
Sunday night, her life was celebrated by family and friends who knew her.
Margarita Bermudez played in a band with Hoholski.
"It's just a shock pretty much that something like that can happen to someone so nice, so sweet as her," said Bermudez.
The young mother was reported missing back in July. Last Wednesday, her body was found inside an apartment.
"I know that they're hurting," said Ariane Taylor.
Many of the people who stood and spoke talked about the light she brought to their lives. It's a light they hope to pass on to her parents, and baby Jasmine, who Kat loved so much.
