Maple Heights: Street reopens after Tuesday house explosion

MAPLE HEIGHTS --  The street where a house exploded in Maple Heights Tuesday, is back open Wednesday morning, officials said. 

Police confirm the house is located on Dunham Road.  According to the chief, the house been unoccupied for more than a year. 

There are no reports of injuries.

Gas work is being done a few blocks behind the house, but there is no confirmation that played a role in the blast.  Utility crews have been investigating.

Dunham Road was blocked between Turney and Rockside roads. Police announced the reopening of the street shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday.
