CUYAHOGA FALLS -- The mother of a 4-year-old girl found alone and crying in Cuyahoga Falls early this morning has been arrested.
Police were called just after 4:30 a.m. after the girl was found wandering along Elmwood Street alone. A next door neighbor was with the child when police arrived. The little girl told police her mother had left. Officers found the child's home open and no one inside.
The child was placed in the temporary custody of CSB when no relative could be found.
A few hours later, police arrested Colleen E. Testa, 30, at her Cuyahoga Falls home on a charge of endangering children.
Testa's 9-year-old daughter was found at another home in Cuyahoga Falls being supervised by an adult. CSB called for the older daughter as well.
